Fantastic value but weight is the thing. The latest thing is sub zero luggage which is good value from Argos and they have 5 year guarantee.

I think 2.3 kilos for a large  Antler suitcase is excellent for weight. Antler are some of the best and most hardwearing suitcases. I know when mine arrives on the carousel it's always in good condition and I have had a long time and it's been to the States and back on four occasions.  ;D  ;)

I looked at these cases on the Argos Website. So £79.99 for a large case that weighs 2.5 kilos. and is guaranteed for 10 years. However, as no one has had one for 10 years I suppose we don't know if it will last. Also if the case arrives in bits and your luggage is lost or damaged will the guarantee cover that? I note one review on Argos says the buyer used it once picked it up at the end of the journey and found a 3" rip.  :o :(  If anyone buyers one, remember not to loose the guarantee.   ;)

I have seen these cases in a discount shop in Fraserburgh and they seem very flimsy and expensive to me, they also look cheap (but there are not).

I will stick with my Antler cases.  ;D

Argos "World's Lightest Grey Trolley Case - small" 1.79kg - 30 litre capacity £28.49

Antler "Antler Revelation Acapulco Lightweight 4 Wheel Suitcase" 2.3kg  - 45 litre capacity £24.99

Which is the best buy?

Debenhams have some good bargains if anyone wants to see their case before they buy.
I bought a Tripp for £35.  Reduced from £150.00.  Not sure how they can reduce an item by that amount but happy with my buy.
I will now go and check out a new cabin case on that sight as my current one is small and I would get off with a larger one.

I used to have Antler cases years ago, good kit, but nowadays there are just as good, cheaper cases available. After all. the buggers hide on the top of yer wardrobe for most of the year, anyway ! I find the price of Antler cases simply "STAG"gering !!   ;)
