Stop Slagging off Dalaman Airport

Too many people are slating Dalaman Airport, but you should consider some alternatives. Like Marrakech Airport.

The people on the Thomsons Birmingham and Gatwick flights left our hotel an hour before us (as their flights were an hour before ours. Makes sense that). Sadly for them (3 coachloads) they left at 7pm, the exact time the restaurant opens for evening refresherisms. Manchester flight people like us leave at 8pm, givng us an hour's nosh time.

When we eventually got to the check in, the Birmingham and Gatwick folk were all still there, lined up at check in.

Apparently, they arrived at the check in desks bang on sunset, at which point the entire airport staff, currently observing Ramadam, got up and went for something to eat.

There's a whole debate on Facebook about this - people who are commenting having just read the title and not even read the tale! It's all "it's a rip off!" over there...

Just flown back from DLM. On time. Water only 4.5ytl for a small bottle   Check in with Monarch spot on and quick - got there 2 hours before flight time. Arrived in Manc 5 minutes early.

Best flight home yet.

Lots of Gatwick delays due to Heathrow fire. Can't really blame anyone for that other than Boeing.

Same happened to us at the fish market, we sat down as the gun went off, unfortunately so did the chef (sat down not went off) so we had to wait, a bit too long for my liking but hey ho, I had an extra beer to while away the time.
