Any Thoughts on 2014 Transfers?
« on: December 31, 2013, 14:13:55 PM »
I was looking at transfer prices for next year and Resorthoppa/A2B seem pricier this year for us anyway. Mutlu at Pegasus informs me that the return transfer to Calis from Dalaman will be £60 not £50 "as petrol price went up". It must have gone up a hell of a lot as when he gave the £50 rate (March 2013) £50 was 138 lira, £60 at today's rate takes it to 212 lira - a hell of a jump,  74 lira more!!

Fethiye Airport Transfers and Fethiye Lovers are £70 return and Orange £80.

Just wondering what people are thinking...

Not the cheapest but Fethiye Airport Transfer provide an immaculate faultless service.

PS I'm fairly sure their recent post was unintentionally disrespectful.

We all make errors of judgement  :)

I like them - very high level of service. Shame Resorthoppa is edging higher, it's obviously cheapest for individuals and couples but when it gets to 4 of us I think I'd rather pay the extra tenner each way than sit around the minibus in the airport car park waiting for others then dropping off here and there until your turn.

Expect the transfer charges to be fairly fluid - the cost of petrol and diesel is likely to go up even more in the coming months.  Unless you're paying in shoeboxes of course...

I have used a guy called Ilkay, he owns Torquoise Taxis, also has yellow taxis at Otogar and Migros, he has a mercedes and VW minibus but most important of all he is Toursab registered, normally £60 return or £40 and a bottle of JD, that prices are to Calis never ever been let down, he has actually turned into a very good friend. If anyone wants any more info please PM.

When there are only 2 of us we always book resorthoppa - but never having received a reply regarding the fraudulent transactions and never having received a reassurance that the site is now secure I won't be booking them for 2014.

Good old A2B for me, no matter what people say I've had good service & that's what matters to me!
