It was an advertising slogan in the UK in the 1940s, when most men still wore hats - caps, trilbys or bowlers - by Dunn & Co, hatmakers. It implied that, in order to advance in life, you needed a hat to help you on your way.

Idling on this sunny Sunday morning, I began to consider what hats would suit other CBF members, Toky definitely looks the "Kiss Me Quick" type and I see Tinx in a straw boater (complete with striped blazer and bamboo cane of course).
