This person probably got the same advise as I did from a "MAN" in the know:
"Always take two spaces, the other b***ers parked next to you do not care"
This advice came from the boss at the Auto Repair depot after some idot sliced a
lump out of the side of my car. After claiming on my
insurance and having to pay out the first £250.00, as
the person in the supermarket car park did not stay around to report
the damage. I was informed that 80% of one side only
damage to cars brought into this repair shop where
from cars parked in car parks and particularly Supermarkets car parks.

My sister-in-law always parks like this after someone hit her merc and didn't leave any details
