I've seen evidence of an awful lot of help, and sarcasm in the same measure but not much laughter!!

What evidence does laughter leave on a computer screen - answers on a postcard to MENSA

Laughter on a forum is easy to spot thank you!! You obviously only use sarcasm, which is neither big, clever nor endearing!

Well Mrs Bouquet, I got the original post and thought it was rather clever

Thank you Toky for a bit of positivity. I came to this forum to be pleasant and learn about the area and hopefully in time,  to be able to give something back.   :)

Jim Fraser, your nasty comment has left me with a sleepless night. There was and is, no need for it.

When I joined this Forum, did I read somewhere that all members are to treat other members with respect?  I'm sure I
    did !!

If you want to make facetious comments about me would you mind keeping them away from here because I have
done nothing hurtful to you and I would appreciate a little courtesy. I realise that having arguments and bickering
makes the world go round for some but it does not apply to me.

Okay, I am new here but that gives you no excuse to be rude. There have been ladies here and I may forget some,
such as Marggie, Jacquie, Angela, and Toky who have been happy to help me. Such is the spirit of a forum. I fear you
may have lost sight of that.

   Thank you.

Well you started with the jokes - no malice or suchlike was intended by my reply, and yes sarcasm can be classed as the lowest form (or was that forum) of wit, so in future all my replies will be of a gentler nature so as not to offend.
I am duly chastised.

By the way - the topic was in the grumpy old men (and women with PMT ) section so in that case my reply to an original joke taking the P out of Catholics and the aged, was pretty reasonable.

Is it being respectful to forum members to intimate that their IQ is not high enough  to understand your "joke".
