Expecting it to clear up by Saturday afternoon though, lets hope so I havent got any hot water and am having to boil pans of water on the stove to wash in, this is when I know its been bad weather as usually an hours sun is enough to heat my tank!

Have a good journey and fingers crossed we are nearing the end of this wet spell

Oh well lets hope we drag some good weather with us then.Whatever else happens it will be a nice break.

Post by: Scunner on December 22, 2011, 22:37:09 PM: Assuming you haven't been over out of season Alan I'd add that the rain over there is an experience in itself, well worth seeing just how hard and how much it can rain. If you are really lucky you might get to experience a thunderstorm too, one of the greatest shows on Earth :)

Some rain showers with sunshine from Thursday night onward...

Post by: grizabella on February 29, 2012, 08:37:01 AM: Just had a call from my friend Trish in Adrassan,near Mnt Otympus,Kemer,to say it was snowing there and only -2dg on her balcony!Didnt move over here for this kind of weather!Bitterly cold wind this morning but no snow here.At least not in actual Calis,only on the surrounding mountains.

Beautiful afternoon today, though extremely foggy from early hours this morning until about 2pm. Spring has finally sprung! ;)

Post by: Liz 101 on March 01, 2012, 21:43:34 PM: Just had a look at accuweather H & seen where the real feel of minus 10 is forecast. Early today, I was hanging out washing, after the sun came out, & would say it felt like -1 / -3, mainly because of the stiff breeze coming straight from the mountains.

With gusts of 70mph + forecast tonight, I guess that a lower temp is possible before sunrise. Think I'll have to find the thermals again!
