Title: Oludeniz
Post by: kevin3 on January 10, 2017, 11:14:02 AM

Just watching the Buzz Bar web cam. Rain lashing the camera and very large waves crashing down on the beach. Looks rough.

Believe..we have torrential rain, followed by hail, followed  by strong winds. Thunder, lightning..we had a break from it yesterday, it has been ongoing since just after New Year...not good, not good at all.  >:( :-[ :-\ :-*

It really is the worst winter for years and years......... horribly cold, even during the day, nights are freezing. The forecast looks to be better during the day in a couple of days, but night temps not good. And of course, more rain, so then the temperature will plummet.
And, houses here not built for cold weather. We also in this area do not have the luxury of piped gas.

Oh the joys of open plan living eh ? Fantastic in the summer. Murder in the winter.

Ok will do again! Not much else to do in this weather!
My house is not open plan, too much to cool in the summer. It is absolutely freezing here at some times this year.
So many flights also cancelled. A flight took off yesterday for Istanbul from Dalaman, circled Istanbul and then returned to Dalaman. The mountain road from the Akayaka/ Marmaris turnoff is closed, ice a huge problem. God knows what the mountain road to Anatalya is like, no way would I go on that to find out! People using the coastal road but there is a problem with rockfalls on that road at times. But tomorrow, hopefully the sun will come out!
