I have to say that before we went to Calis I was very cynical about Turkey. But i have to say after spending 2 weeks at the Oykun I love it. It is just such a relaxed atmosphere, great value for money and found the much maligned Turks very friendly.I can't wait to go back (but will probably go a slightly different time of year as a bit too hot for me).

Glad you enjoyed your holiday.   Early late May/early June and September are lovely times to come here - it's not as hot but still lovely and sunny - the sea is lovely and warm in September too  :-)

I also agree, unless you have children on school holidays it's best to avoid July and August far, far, too hot.  May, June and September are perfect times to holiday in Turkey.
