It's funny you should mention fish as something similar happened here. A Champagne and Caviar restaurant has opened in the High Street. We were invited to their opening night but as the price of champagne and caviar is quite high we were given fish fingers and Tizer instead :D

Ah well, I didn't hear anyone complaining. Everyone was happy. I'll go back for a steak another night.

I might also add, while I agree that it would be ideal to offer steak and charge 50TL, this is Fethiye...in Winter. I think the idea was that people would actually go to the restaurant.  :)

We dropped in late tonighthjust to have a look and a glass of wine. The owner, a Dutchman, was very friendy, as were all of his staff.
The facilities were superb.Toilets, games/gentlemens room.
It is not the cheapest in town but comparwed to the Þat, Kale park and Sundail I believe that they have a head start and compared to the run of the mill Calis offerings they are leagues ahead.

We will definitely go there for a meal and the wee takers should also try it.

If you want quality then you must pay! If I want cheap then there are a myriad of Lokantas to try.

Who are the "wee takers"? (good job we have a swear filter)

I wasn't taking the **** - I pointed out that in a topic entitled "Steak house in Fethiye" there was no steak to be seen on their opening night which is peculiar to say the least. I was then informed that it was too expensive for the menu, and that steak and Fethiye in winter won't work!

Good luck to them, I genuinely hope they do very well. I do however find the entire topic totally bizarre.

Apparently there is something on this Wednesday night for motorbike enthusiasts... I know Paul (the owner) was the organiser of the Fethiye Motorcross Championships, and has just been asked to organise the World Championships which are apparently coming to Fethiye...not sure exactly what's going on, just heard through the grapevine.
