What a difference from when we first went

It's looking great. The bulldozers were in there in May, so it was lovely to see the finished product. So much nicer outlook for the little row of bars and restaurants there too.

I remember it 10 years ago - that area was just seats and a fountain that was empty and not working. Pretty much the same then

Are the fountains working yet...they weren't in September

Was told they would be on next week Patrice, but of course this is Turkey so who knows.

The official opening ceremony is supposedly this month, on the 29th, Republic Day...

Lovely pictures. I did see them on Facebook too.  Taken from Cafe Park Teras which we discovered this time thanks to "Turkey's for Life"  Don't know how we missed this place before, but it certainly gives great views whilst you are having a drink.   Nice one Des.

The boats are at the other end Stoop, back of Migros by Genis, address, restaurants etc, this is the new Posh end.
