Have just found out Stoop there are plenty of boats up that end, but on this particular day most of them were out towing Jerry,s boats back in.

Lovely pictures - the park looks fantastic - we went through it a few times while we were over in September.  It will be fantastic when the water and fountains are working. Lets hope the fountains keep working for more than a year !

According to the poster by Kipa, the opening is now 18th October at 18.00. Also confirmed by the council offices, so perhaps the date has changed  :

Are the fountains working yet...they weren't in September

not yet, think they were working on them today when we walked past but they weren't on
