Colwyn, well the mayor of Fethiye,whigave permission for these restaurants to be built along the promenade did not join AK party after leaving MHP,instead joining DP. Maybe they hope he will change his mind and join AK?

In August this year the mayor of Bodrum left the DP and, instead of joining AKP, joined the main opposition CHP. In September the government issued demolition warrants on new hotels within 100 metres of the sea.

I can see it now, the president sat in his office, elections looming, people rioting on the streets of Istanbul, billions wiped off the stock market, the value of the lira at an all time low fuelling massive inflation and his first thought's are ..... " I better check if there are any restaurants built near the seaside in Fethiye"
