To be honest not sure if such a thing exists in Turkey, however I have sat in my store room a VERY large Scalextric Set, as I'm in the process of putting my apartment on the market, so I would love to give it to a deserving local cause if anyone has any ideas please post them, I'm out for another week this time but would love it to go to a good home, it's digital so can race 6 cars with lane changing.

Great stuff GlennB :) :) :)
-
How about donating it to 3C's for their next auction ?
-
Or to one of the "Love Homes" that the 3C's helped to equip. Another suggestion is Fethiye Boys Orphanage.
-
I am sure, if you can take it to the 3C's shop, they will find the best place for it
-
Busybee, the Boys's orphanage has been amalgamated into one of the Love Homes
-
I like the idea of the 3c's having it, I would prefer it to go to somewhere it will be used, as I said it is very large, two of the big storage boxes and a bit more so not the sort of thing to wander around with, if anyone from 3c's has a car and could pick it up please message me

Such a great offer - I wonder if there is any Calis based member who can help :)

Hi GlenB, I have sent a message to the secretary, in the hope that we can get transport to collect.
-
The deed is done, just dropped it to the 3c's shop, pleasant stroll back along the front now a cold beer as a reward
-
And a very well deserved cold beer it will be too. :) :) :)
-
Hi GlenB, you beat us to it, was going to get it collected it today. Takes a while to message, email people, to arrange these things. On behalf of the 3C's A BIG THANKYOU, I am sure it will bring a lot of fun and pleasure.
-
No problem, as I said when I dropped it off, really important to only use one power supply in the circuit at a time, whether it's connected to power or not one will 'fry', I tried it???? And as the six car controller is £160 to replace it gets expensive, all instructions can be downloaded from the Scalextric web site. May it give years of fun. I did have a last minute thought about 3c's keeping it and having charity race nights to raise money, 6 cars with overtaking plus a competitive nature could raise some money.
