Yes, Phil was saying our Chinese deliver a beef curry, rice and prawn crackers (crackers are free) for £7.50.  So that is expensive.

Don't think, at those prices, they will be open for long.

We always used SB's on Baris Manco for takeaway/delivery we have the fridge magnet with our address on a bit like Pizza Calisto and if we ever had a night at the Tiriayki ( aka Blackberry now) we would mossy down from hotel and have a sit down chinese...
However since the seafront SB's has opened the location is far nicer staff are lovely and friendly and the food was as good as ever so we will be sticking with the Shanghi Blues and not bothering to try the new one   :)

A couple of years ago we gave the Shanghai Blue a map of our place, (which is about 4 minutes drive away, that was  one day and the next day, we rang for a take away, they could not find us they kept ringing us and Phil even went out to the main road but no luck after an hour we told them not to bother and ordered a pizza.  We did call in for a meal  every so often, but the last time we went,  service was terrible and they had no tonic water and no coffee left.
After that we used to go and collect our take away, until we got a couple of bad ones and then we did not bother with them again.   However, we have not tried the place on the prom yet, but would probably have to go down and pick up if we ordered a take-away.

We went to shanghai blues on the front last week with some friends for a sit down & whilst it was nice I didn't think it wasn't that chinesy(is there such a word?) , service not that great as had to ask for more drinks(they were not busy staff just sat on a table talking) & the chicken was uniform size pieces like you get with frozen meat but was nice non the less.

Last night tried China palace/place (depends if you use the name on the menu or front of premises) on baros Mancho & had spring rolls, chips(thin cut simaler to fries), chicken with hot peppers (reppers on the menu),beef with hot pepper & mixed vegetables with hot sauce, all very nice & decent pieces of meat & vegetables along with the free prawn crackers, even asked it we wanted cutlery (had a take away) , bit pricey compared to uk prices but more than happy with the portion sizes.

If you have not tried it yet, can recommend the Indian food at the Calis Beach Restaurant.  One place we always eat at regularly and have to say the food is always good and never varies.  Staff are great and so efficient.

As a life long critic of Chinese in Turkey I found it to be fantastic.

Jackie, my wife, loves the sweet and sour prawn and I am quite partial to the duck. With a bottle of wine not cheap but a nice treat
