Just got back home after 2 months in turkey spent most evenings at defnes with hammad and barry there father they are doing very well and are trying hard to please everyone, one night there was 72 people there for a bbq lovely family great english breakfast and cheap imported drinks the internet is free and the swiming pool is up and running. They tell me that they are going to build a small hotel there next year to go behind the pool which will complement there bed and breakfast accomodation.I just hope that they dont spoil the place as its our local.

Carry on past Surf Cafe to Mutlus restaurant and turn right up the paved wide road and pass The Alperin Hotel on your right. Carry on past the taxis and a short distance up on your left is a corner shop, turn left here and the Defne soon comes up on the right hand side.

Thanks Tel,

aaaah - we cycled along the paved road but missed the turning.

Will definitely track it down when we are back out in a few weeks.

Just got home from coca calis, spent probably 3-4 afternoons/evenings at the defne. Lovely people, fab food, great prices, relaxed atmosphere with enough for the kids to do to give us a bit of peace. Guide price for a good meal with drinks for the 5 of us was around 130tl. Pool is lovely and clean as well.

Plights for next year already booked :-)
