General review of 2010 -so far

I tried to be fair to all the places we ate at. One of my pet hates in Calis is that many places are great one night and crap the next. The only place we really found consistency, good value, good meals and excellent service was once again Guven's. I've never seen a place with so many staff!! Only problem I had there was the footy is on inside and we eat outside and the wifi doesn't work near the beach. Small points which do not detract from the eating experience really.

We find Mangal consistently good. Nice food, pleasant and efficient service and reasonably priced.

In a couple of weeks if you see a man wandering around like Roy Cropper (bag in one hand notebook in t'other) it'll be me looking for all the recommended eatery's :-)

so far for us in no order

Garlic Chicken at Green Valley restaurant - Deliktas - delicious
Bella Gusta - Olu Deniz- not a meatball on the menu
Mezze at Mosaic Bache- scrummy
Deniz restaurant- Fethiye - all seafood and although not cheap- worth the money.
Blue Cafe -lemon or cherry cheesecake to absolutely die for.
Ocakbashi -just lovely
Enginar - Fethiye


My 2010 addition to the avoid at all costs list, joining Kale Park and Genis terrace is Sobe Tapas. very trendy but sooo rediculously expensive for what was very poor quality tapas.

Well we always find Cafe Genis to be good and not at all expensive. I suppose it's each to their own really.

Not the price at all always happy to pay for good food and good service.each to there own agreed but with so many other places to eat I tend not to go back to places that have let us down.
