New eatery in the village
« on: July 05, 2015, 08:55:32 AM »
We visited the new lokanta in the village yesterday. Totally traditional Small turkish menu. A set menu of the dish of the day with soup, bread , rice and water. This changes daily. Yesterday we had moussaka, today I noticed it is white bean fasuliye
Other dishes such as green beans in oil, Turkish sausage with scrambled egg, Menemen were also available.
Defiantly worth a visit
It's located on the high street near the estate agents and Izems

Here's a clue, Lance. It begins with "U".

Hi Lance
Yes we all tend to read the title of the post and not take note of which thread its in.
I do it regularly

Wish there was a Lokanta in Didsbury though.

On my iPad I really have to check where posts are from. It's not immediately obvious. Like Lance I always wonder where it is, thinking its Calis or Fethiye.   :)

Sounds lovely, I would be curious as to the price of these set menus if anyone knows.
Many thanks
