Hi Phil, Have used Logmein from Turkey to login to my office pc without any major issues for a number of years now and also to deal with problems my 82 year old father has from time to time on his laptop!! It does what it is supposed to do and unless the internet speed is poor it will work well. You will need to leave you UK based machine on while you are away and also remember that if it gets turned off some how you won't be able to connect.
Good luck with it.

Thanks for that teetee.
I intend to use the Internet Cafe in Calis for access. When I tried a few computers here some needed extra software to be downloaded (Active X controls ????) Anyone know if it Internet Cafes allow logmein to work ???

Hi Phil I use an internet cafe and ActiveX isn't a problem on their machines it's quite standard to activate.
