Title: Gerry Adams..what is the verdict?
Post by: Jacqui Harvey on May 05, 2014, 10:14:41 AM
So Gerry Adams is released and we are told that Martin McGuinness Deputy First Minister has threatened to take away Sinn Fein support for the Police if Adams is prosecuted. So what does this mean?  It seems like if any of McGuinness's  friends are put in the frame for a crime, they must not suffer any retribution from the authorities because if they do McGuinness will blackmail the authorities?   Or am I wrong?

Light the touch paper and walk away, find him guilty and turn back the clock. so no case to answer.

Well it seems the family, even after having a warning from Adams not to reveal the people who took their Mum away to execute here, are going to take a civil action against Adams and have an anonymous donor who is going to pay all their legal fees... So light the touch paper indeed.
