Belcigiz Beach Hotel Buffet 30TL
« on: September 01, 2013, 07:24:54 AM »
The all inclusive hotel has an open buffet each night as some may know. Open also to Joe public for 30 TL. The range of foods on our first visit was excellent, smart, ,fresh and a reasonably good quality. Every thing a buffet would have from soup to sweet.  On our visit prawns salmon freshly cooked steak. Guy with a wok doing some Asian stir fries. Mezze style foods galore. Good range of sweets and fresh fruit. For the price including water soft drinks tea day coffee khave, not alcoholic drinks very good value.

Downers, its a hotel, on our visit bit noisy, enjoyed the M Jackson show later tho.

At 30tl a pop I'd want the food to be better than "of reasonably good quality"  :o

Just trying to be diplomatic, as experience tells me everyone has different thoughts on different things..especially on the forum. Would we go again, Yes! Maybe next year....and we enjoy our food.    :) 8)  Still a very helpful and  positive comment Hamlet   ;)

Thanks for the information.  Although this place may not be for everyone I have to say £10.00 for food and entertainment seems reasonable to me.

Friends of ours stayed there a couple of weeks ago, they were very impressed with the food, said they couldn't fault it.
I'm with you Jacqui, for a tenner you can have as much of anything on offer as you want plus soft drinks and some entertainment thrown in, what do people expect?

I must say I would be highly unimpressed if I was staying at the hotel!

Agreed Keith there is that side to it.
I know my friends said that their stay was not cheap.

It is a hotel that backs on to the beach in Olu Deniz. If you get off the dolmus in Olu and walk along the beach front past all the bars and shops almost to the far end of the beach the hotel is there.

Residents do have a slight advantage in that all alcoholic drinks are included before during and after any meals. Small draught beer 8 TL  house wine 10 TL to non residents. As those that have visited previously the "amphitheatre" is a comfortable place to watch the shows. The best of a good buffet to us is not the quantity to be eaten but the choice and variety. By the way the price has been the same for the past 3 years making good value this year. A good mix of nationalities too.
