Tailors - Alterations

Can recommend the Tailor in Fethiye.  He is on the one way street with the Banks, next door to the Laundry. Shortened a pair of jeans for my husband in just over 1 hour and made a terrific job of them for 5 TL.

Pass Carrefour and turn left up the one way street where the Banks and the Mulberry Tree Restaurany are.  Almost opposite the entrance to Passatur where the Duck Pond is.    There is a laundry with lots of things drying on racks outside The Taylor is next door in a small shop. He speaks no English and has no changing rooms. However, he measured the trousers my husband was wearing and then measured the jeans we had brought so he could get the alteration just right.  He was absolutley correct.
If you want it to be more precise, measure and pin your items before you go. I am already getting some stuff together to take over to him next time.

Thanks Jacqui I'm with you now! Good idea about pining before hand - a little job for our first day I think- all my stuff is in calis.

Yes of course I knew what she meant I am only a bit thick not really thick, also a bit old and that's why I do tend to be a bit pedantic I do apologise for that and hope sincerely I did not hurt anyone's feelings.
