We also found the Calis chemist to be very expensive, found the same later at a third of cost. Agree with the chemists around the hospital being a much better service and a fair price.: :)

There did used to be 2 chemists opposite Carrefour, the one on the end closed down and the one next to it is still there and I have always gone there and never been ripped of and I think they are very good....

Yes June, we have used them for the last 5 years and also thought they were "very good" but they did not have the pencillin tablets we take back for friends, he said he would have them in next day, so we went to the Chemist at the back of the Hospital and asked for the same tablets. They were much cheaper, we were really surprised, but will not go back to the Chemists in Fethiye again.

Is pennicillin not one of the products that has an official price stamped on the box? We have found the chemist in Fethiye you mention usually rounds that price down if it is an odd amount.

As we also buy these tablets, just been and checked the prices. So ten pencillin from Fethiye 16.30TL  10 from Calis 9.37TL.  Prices are printed on the tops of boxes, which I did not realise.

So was that the prices actually printed on the respective boxes?  Were they the same or different brands. Was the potency identical?  Sorry not the third Degree...just trying to establish in my mind where & why these variations occur. :)

Both exactly the same tablets, box etc., The only difference was, the cheaper one had a yellow label on the top of the box with the price printed on it. Bought them in May. In September we were offered from the chemist in Calis boxes of 16 tablets which were cheaper per tablet than the box of 10.  We bought them for a workmates of my husband's so don't have the box to check the price.

Just had a look at the box I bought at the Calis chemist after I had turned down the 56 lira ones.
They are called Largopen underneath that Amoksisilin 1g but think they are 1000g, 16 tablet.
In the coded sort of writing on the top flap it has what looks like part no and an eight number code, then it has S.K.T: 08 14 8.16 TL, he defo charged me 8 lira for the box.
