Hi Roger, I can highly recommend a chap called Emin Kahraman. He has so far built us a detached earthquake proof shed,  knocked out walls and fitted three windows, one being a huge picture window, laid a lovely Fethiye stone path in keeping with the rest of the stone around the villa, he built us a very large roof terrace in a previous property, and is doing more work for us in the near future. The quality of his workmanship is second to none, and both he and his lovely wife  who does some of his labouring for him are honest, genuine people. Emin is one of eleven brothers of another chap who comes highly recommended on this forum, Bayram,  the electrician who now does work for hundreds of people around the area.

Anyway, not sure if you're allowed to post phone numbers on here so if you send me a private message I'll give you Emin's number.

Mark

Don't have an email address, just a phone number. I'll message you with it.

We are very disappointed with his recent painting work. He started to paint the exterior of our villa the week before new year. Continued on the rainy last Friday of the year. A good painter should not do this. When he came to continue 2 days later as the rain stopped , I did quit with him.

Parts of paint still fall down from the walls.

Now we have to find a decent painter and start again.

No need to go any further than Mehmet Hira, excellent English, probably the cleanest workman I have EVER known , find him on Facebook. An all round lovely, well mannered person, and great at anything he does .
