Blocked Drains
« on: May 27, 2008, 10:08:29 AM »
Can anyone offer any advice please?  After my guests have had to relocate due to sewage coming up through the ground floor toilet floor waste, I have been advised that the main sewage pipe is blocked.  The villa has been vacant for a month and my guests were only there one night, so not sure how we have managed to block the main sewer pipe.  We have already paid £160 to Orange to have the waste pipe pressure washed, but they are advising that further digging etc could escalate to around £600.  Does anyone know if the main sewer pipe is my responsibility or would I be better trying to get the council equivalent involved?
