Does the alarm go off every time there is a power cut?

Contact Engin at Fethiye Property Services. He's been involved in fitting a variety of burglar alarm systems for customers around the Fethiye area.

Most of them have battery back-up systems so that they aren't effected by powercuts

Rimms, in a power cut situation, the battery keeps the alarm monitoring for 24 hours.  Once battery gets low, the alarm will sound a warning.

I dont think an alarm is the anwser,i had an alarm when i was burgled and they just ripped it off the wall and put it in a bucket of water and one can only assume that they got a ladder to reach it some how as it was fixed high up on the wall of my villa. If you have an alarm fitted then have an informer fitted to it as i do here in the uk.It will phone you and let you know that theres an intruder in your home and in will store several numbers and will keep ringing you untill someone anwsers at least it gives you half a chance to get some one to your property even if you are abroad.

Sorry i meant to say that you do have to have a phone line for an informer to work, which is not much good to us holiday home owners, but for people living in turkey with a phone line then its ideal.
