If someone was selling an apartment and the prospective buyer asked for a copy of the tapu in advance to get a mortgage is this normal? ( Turkish people)
Is there any problem about giving someone a copy of a tapu before purchase?

They will be looking for a mortgage "in principle" - the bank will want to see exactly what they are proposing to buy. They can't get a mortgage on it while you still own it. If that were possible we'd have chaos

Buddy if selling houses in Turkey was easy, they'd all be doing it. Oh hang on, they are.

When/if you give them a copy, make sure that you clearly mark it as a copy, especially if it's a colour copy.
