Saw the builders working away this morning - the owner reckons it will take about 10 days and then no more hosing down the wooden floors - so happy chappie

I remember when the Birlik in Koca Calis got a new floor. Or is it a floor. It was a sad day when they changed to a floor, from four walls on a soil/sand base. They did keep it nice, they raked the floor every morning  :)

I used to like the wooden floor the way it moved when you walked or sat on a chair on it , and not knowing if your foot was going to go through it was fun too.
On the weather front since it was taken up, it has poured down and we've had some of the best thunderstorm we've seen since we've been here lol
Good luck with getting it flat. All you need is a float    ;)

Serdat it is and do you know with all that building work going on he actually said "stop after shopping for a coffee on me - please" - needless to say I didn't but what a nice man :-)
