I have just come back from 17 wonderful days in Turkey, visiting family and friends in Fethiye, Calis and Dalyan. What really suprised me and was common in all three places was the amount of people who would be out all night knocking back the beer or spirits then at the end of the evening would calmly stagger to their cars and drive home. I am quite sure they would not do it in the UK so why do they think it is ok in Turkey. Is there any drink driving laws in Turkey?
