We are always listening to how hot it is in Calis/Fethiye etc, and left feeling jealous of those sitting on their terraces drinking their cool efes. So, seeing as how we are lucky enough to be having a superb hot spell here in old blighty, how about we let them know what we're getting up to here? Ill start:
Spent the day mowing our lawn, pruning the orange blossom, cleaning out the fish pond, in between resting on the sunbed with an ice cold bottle of rose whilst watching the kids in the swimming pool. Went out for a bbq with some old work colleagues and sat out in their back garden until 10 pm, whilst the kids bounced on the trampoline. Comfortably cool, no mosquitos and now heading for a comfortable nights sleep. Perfection............and tomorrow? 27 degrees forecast. Its a good summer
