Hi all

Can you advise who and how much I would be charged for a handover clean in uzumlu

I think £30 is about the going rate in Calis   :)

Size really does matter! Have a word with Gulay in café Lup-Lup in the square re. cleaners.

A hand over clean and a property clean are very different. £30 would be slave labour for a hand over clean (of any size property) - that wouldn't even pay to get the old hard plaster chiseled off the floor !!

Some builders used to include it in the price but these days less and less. Having said all that I have no idea how much one would be these days.

Sorry I took it that a hand over clean was between one rental and another, nothing to do with new properties.

As a guide, my local cleaner charges 80tl for a 2-bed apartment & 100tl for a 3/4 bed duplex

We have a full very thorough beginning of season clean for 150 tl......a 'hand-over' clean is usually 80 - 100 tl.

A few of us in living this part of Uzumlu use a local Turkish lady for a weekly clean; she currently charges around 40tl for 3 hours, doing dusting, bathrooms, hoovering and mopping floors. If you like I can ask her if she's interested? How many hours do you think she'd need to take, and how often would she be needed?

We never rent, so a change over isn't required. However we pay 25GBP for an arrival clean (Hisaronu 3 bedrooms including two windowed terraces). Its very well cleaned too.

Just a word of warning about having a cleaner.If you are paying cash and do not pay her insurances you can be held responsible if she has a accident at your property.Please be careful about saying things like this on a open forum.They will put your names forward on the hospital report as being their employer if god forbid something happens to them.This also is the same for pool and garden workers.
