Foggy summer morning

I made these pictures at 5 am in the morning. Never seen a foggy morning before in summer.

In Ovacik near Orka Club Hotel about 150 meters down the Mirage Restaurant. Normally the Babadag is visible behind the palm tree.

I don't think so Liz. Might just be a meteorological event. I wonder however if people nearby ( e.g. in Kayakoy or even down in Fethiye ) have seen this. One of our cats woke us up at 4.30 am and wanted to go out. Otherwise I would have not seen this , too.

Have noticed that on the high ground around Fethiye over the last couple of nights, the humidity has been a bit higher recently so thought it was the water vapour dropping out of the air as it was cooling, so basically it is fog/mist.

I remember that morning, the night before had been really eerie to in Oludeniz with the mist/fog covering the area from turning the corner at the viewpoint going down the hill! Weird!!
