Title: How early can apply for visa?

Trying to get visa for September but dates only go as far as June ,sure Ive booked them this far in advance before

Silly question does your June one not cover period.

No John it’ll have run out by then.We haven’t got our June one yet,nor booked our Sept flights but my Mother is going all of Sept so I was trying to sort hers.The only options for commencement date are from today up until 7th June for some reason

If you're that determined to buy now, buy it for a date in June, and it'll cover you / her for September anyway.

Visas cover any 90 days in 180.

Just checked and you can only apply with a date up to 07/06/19 at the moment (3 months ahead is the max) However this will allow 90 days entry right up until
03/12/19

So if you buy one now for June it will cover September easily - as long as you don't stay more then 90 days.

Visas last 6 months not 3 but you can only stay 90 days max.

Have just checked ours for 2018 and as follows.....
Valid from 08 June 2018
Valid Until 04 December 2018

Which is what I thought    :)

Exactly. It covers 6months (180 days) and you can go as many times as you like as long as it’s for no more than 90 days in total - as my picture shows from when I went on the site earlier.

I guess it can be a little confusing as the first question is asking for "Your arrival date in Turkey" and this cant be more than 3 months ahead.

If you consider this question as "When do you want your visa to start" it may make nore sense.

Yeah got that Ian thanks but I want it to start in September so I’ll just wait until closer to the time

That's only important if you intend to travel again before March 2020. Other than that there is no need to wait.
