This bar is one of our regular haunts which I can recommend especially on Sunday's when they have the live singer on. We called in last night for a drink and were amazed to see that the little street dog Lopez, who has adopted the bar had been shaved. He was in such a terrible condition that the owner Aydin had paid for him to be cut and given all of his injections. This little dog has been in the village since we've lived here and has always looked so dirty and unkempt - he is unrecogniseable now and must feel as though he has a new lease of life. The owners Aydin and Claire are both animal lovers and whilst their bar is in close proximity to the Dolphins they are totally against the Dolphinarium .... so anyone protesting on Friday can pop in for a refreshment break, safe in the knowledge that they do not condone swimming with dolphins and are in support of the protest march ....

THANK YOU SO MUCH ALL AT ALFRESCO FOR LOOKING AFTER LOPEZ-I LOVE THAT LITTLE DOG,AND ALWAYS TREAT HIM TO A KEBAB WHEN IM THERE!!!!I WAS REALLY CONCERNED THIS YEAR TO SEE HIM LOOKING SO BEDRAGGLED-AND HORRIFIED TO HEAR THAT HE HAD BEEN ATTACKED BY A ROTTWEILER-THANKFULLY,DODGY AT MORRISON CAME TO HIS AID,AND HE HAD BEEN PUT IN A ROOM AT THE DESTAN FOR A BIT OF PEACE-I SAW HIM ON THE MORNING I LEFT,ON JUNE 16TH,AND HE SEEMED FINE,I TOOK A PHOTO OF HIM!!SO I AM WELL PLEASED THAT ALL AT ALFRESCO HAVE HELPED HIM-HOW OLD IS HE?ALSO-SO PLEASED THEY ARE ALL AGAINST THAT STINKING PIT OF A DOLPHIN POOL-HOPE ITS SOON CLOSED-HISARONU DOES NOT NEED THIS .XXX

New owners at Al Frescos are great and its a great night out - especially on Sunday evening. Previous owner Ali was a conman and I know a few people that were owed lots of money by him before he 'disappeared'. Last I heard was that he had been arrested in Istanbul.
