Anyone know anything about the Area hotel in Calis.

We had 4 friends stay there last October, it was a bit drab and dated, caters mainly for Germans they were the only Brits, the breakfast was ok rooms clean and a nice big swimming pool.

Hi Lance, I went in to see the rooms in June, as Mark says, a bit dated but it's a very clean hotel and the sunbathing area is immaculately kept, lovely sea breeze!
I was going to book for Sept but it was fully booked!

We had friends stop there a couple of years ago and they said they enjoyed it, I have to say when you walk past the outside area always does look immaculate, cant comment on food etc.

I've stayed there a couple of times. What exactly were you 'fishing' for? I found it very clean and staff very friendly, location excellent for the beach, restaurants etc. One slight downside for anyone looking to stay there, is that they cater more for our 'European Cousins'! That aside a great place to stay. I wish I was there now!
