Talking of bargains, how about the spending of £35 million of Liverpool's 'Torres Windfall' on a duffer like Carrol ... I think that Newcastle got the best of that particular bargain:D

Not the same at all - one has his career ahead of him and one has probably got it behind him - and not gone, given over a year crammed full of 20 disappointing performances and now on loan...

He has the chance to rediscover his form and return to Liverpool and become an Anfield legend. Won't happen though
