I am sick fed up of hearing that Balotelli is being picked on by officials.

His stamp on Scott Parker was assault pure and simple (and yes, the wasn't the only one over the weekend).

So what should his punishment be.

Cantona got 4 months for kicking someone inside a football ground. So the answer is 4 months.

John, I can't see the connection between racism and an alleged stamp.

My guess is 4 games - IF the ref didn't deal with it at the time. The rules seem to change according to the club.

As for that bad tempered little twonk - I would send him back to where he came from.

Maybe because one is white and the other one deeply tanned.

Balotelli is a talent but always comes onto the pitch
with anger in his face and looking for trouble.

Ken

The FA want to stamp out racism in football and therefore imposed a hefty ban on Suarez. I'm suggesting that they take a similarly firm stance on violent assaults and give Balotelli a length ban.

Incidently there is no doubt in my mind that it was a deliberate act. His right leg was travelling forwards in the same direction as his left until the decided to change it. Then, he had the temerity to jump forwards extravagantly. Pathetic.

I agree and had he been sent off Tottenham (My Team) would not have had a penalty against them and would have drawn the match. I think he always looks angry and ready for a fight and after an incident very cocky about it, but he is talented. Maybe he needs an anger management course.

My teenage  son who plays a high standard of football said to me last night ‘dad cheats do prosper don't they' I asked him why he thought that  and he said  â€˜because if Man City win the League by 3 points who cares if it was for cheating they will all get a big bonuses and have a premiership winners medal and no one in Manchester city football club will care when they are the English Champions, the way they won it as long as they did.
I feel that if kids are thinking this then its time to start docking points rather than banning the individuals,
Then you get the City management team saying 'they did not see it and have not watched the  tv replays yet' funny how they never fail to watch the replays when its to there advantage at the press interviews.
Some of these footballers of today do not realise that millions of kids watch football and they are portraying that cheating actually is ok,
There was two disgraceful incidents in that game yesterday Lescotts  punch was missed by the ref as well.
Why o why do we not have a 4th official looking at TV replays?
