According to reports in today's Sun he asked to take one and was turned down. He's considering his future if RDM stays and he cannot get assurances of where he stands next season. I predict a big loss of dosh on this one!

And Torres, a £50 million signing from Liverpool in January 2011, said to guillembalague.com: "I wanted to take a penalty but they didn't let me."

As I recall, Chelsea didn't play with massed defence against the teams you mention. ;) I am not knocking Chelsea, I enjoy watching them play. What I was saying was that (Chelsea having shown again how to beat better teams) I hope there isn't a  a resurgence of ultra-conservative play in the Premiership

I dont think that will happen in the premiership it's just the way you have to play against top quality opposition, I dont think bayern were top quality but Chelsea were missing key men and needs must which probably made them look better than they really were.

If only we could play lovely football and win, it didn't work for Barca this year!!!

The parade was very strange as I hardly heard any swearing although there were lots of youngsters there but that doesn't normally stop it.

Shame I haven't seen the guy from the courier firm we use since the weekend at he is a THFC supporter and we always have a brief chat about the footie:D ;)
