Disgraceful, this man won the F.A. Cup and the European Cup for them. I feel so sorry for Roberto he seemed a nice guy and did so well for Chelsea.  After Drogba left and the money wasted on Torres this guy was rebuilding the team and needed time. Why doesnt the Russian just take over as the Manager himself.   I wonder, who in his right mind would want the Manager's job with the certain knowledge he was going to get sacked even if he did win cups for the club.

A manager who wants 2 years salary for 8 months work. I agree it is a disgrace - not just because of Di Matteo but just look at the rich vein of world football management who have failed to meet the expected level.

I believe there is no man alive who can hold down this job.

Whoever the next manager may be, he will be the 9th in 8 years, just a little poser question, does anyone out there know of any other team (whatever league in england) that can match that. ???

Benitez next - always liked him at Liverpool but I suspect the "average" Chelsea fan would rather have had Neil Warnock   :)   ;)

I've been thinking about getting some short-term work over the Christmas period.

So I've decided to apply for the Chelsea job.

Last time I saw Abramovich he was in Fethiye Marina, maybe he was looking for the right manager then?

The problem now is that the best qualified people for the job have already had it  :)
