Terry Butcher has turned down the vacant manager's job at Barnsley.

Certainly good news for the Highlands, Inverness Caley Thistle and Scottish Football.

But how much of a shock is it.

For me it is no shock at all - managing Barnsley is not a step up from managing in the Scottish Premiership. If he continues to do well, a far better tempter will come his way.
