Chelsea v West Brom
« on: November 10, 2013, 07:50:56 AM »
Methinks it is time to add video technology to the  penalty box area, the goal line system works well, something has to be done to stop this incessant diving in the box, west brom robbed of 3 points yesterday, would also like to know why  they got 6 minutes extra time, did Mourhino have S A F watch on.  ;)  :)

No need for live technology, everyone can see that he cheated.  10 match ban for any player found cheating in this way when their team has benefited in the match result, with the use of retrospective video evidence - don't believe you should stop game for video.

Is it me but is Maureen starting to lose it, as predicted by my good self before the start of the season.  He looks under great personal pressure, a la Wenger at times in the last 5 years or so.  Still we'll see how he and Chelski get on after this international break.

And finally, my prediction for the Gooners versus Man MU this afternoon, 1-8 our defense is better than theirs was when they beat us...tee hee   ;) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Mourinho's comments after the game were disgraceful.

And yes, usedbustickets, I think you are correct about him - he is losing it.

From being a somewhat likeable rogue he comes across as an arrogant sod. Perhaps he always was.

PS How about a ban for the referree who had a clear view of the incident.

This was a travesty, should never have been a penalty.  I always liked Mourinho, but after that interview I am amazed just how dishonest he was, he said he watched the incident a number of times and it was a penalty, what a lot of tosh.  I feel sorry for Steve Clarke,  The Special One's former No.2.  His team had the win snatched from them at the last minute.

Totally agree - I have always liked him and had him down to win the Premier League this season - but something seems not quite right .............

But the game was stopped Pete, soon as he blew for a foul, then with video tech everyone could see on the big screen and the official could make his decision, straight  red card in everyones opinion except Mr Arrogant. >:(

If you make contact with an oponent in the box they will go down. Never mind what Shearer and Owen say - they would have gone down in exactly the same way and 'played' for the spot kick.

It's wrong but it's life in football these days.
