Looks like electing his son in law was as leadership candidate (then PM) was one step too far, surprisingly!
So... who do we get - we get Binali Yıldırım, one of little reginalds closest allies. One of the original founders of the AKP and another "pious" one who has a fairly archaic mindset when it comes to women.
This passage was on his Wikipedia page earlier today, the current page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binali_Y%C4%B1ld%C4%B1r%C4%B1m) has now been sanitised to remove the passage in bold:
A photograph of Yıldırım's veiled wife seated separately from him during a business lunch went viral and produced an outcry in Turkey in 2005, many criticizing him with charges of sexism. On another occasion, he commented that he did not attend Boğaziçi University in his youth because he "saw boys and girls sitting and talking together in the university's yard" and found the genders intermixing unacceptable. As the Minister of Communications, Yıldırım was also the source of numerous other controversies, including replying to criticisms about government surveillance of phone lines by saying: "If you are not up to anything illegal, don't worry about surveillance."

His other "bit on the side" doesn't look too pleased with her rice crispies. Probably no toy in the packet.

There used to be a time when there were toys in all kinds of Kellogg's products.
I have fond memories of playing with my baking powder submarine and deepsea diver in the bath. I moved on to bigger things in my teens. ;)
