Title: Best bbQ food by far. where? Bostons!!
Post by: captainjon on February 10, 2010, 08:17:38 AM: At Bostans last evening for their bbq evening.Normaly i am not a fan of bbq,s as the food mainly consists of badly cooked chicken or liver
But here the food choice was exceptional. The meats consisted of steak,Lamb chops, Kofte ,chicken of course and liver.Plus a full fish if you could manage it.After the starters the meats of your choice were cooked to order by Recep. As much as you could eat,I kid you not.Finaly followed by a plate,( dinner size) of mixed fresh fruit.The entertainment hosted by Russ of (sandgrounder) fame, so good music and Kareoke all well received.Overall a fantastic evening,if you have not been to this restruarant before,you will not be disapointed. good eating.

Post by: sandgrounder on February 10, 2010, 10:24:30 AM: Have to agree with the above 2 posts. The food was fantastic!!! 18 different Meze starters then as much meat and fish as you could eat! The Swordfish steak was bloody lovely:D

Thanks Recep and Carol for a great evening and well done to the Animal Aid peeps for raising nearly 300 ytl for the Animal centre!:D

Post by: bagpus on March 11, 2010, 22:45:42 PM: Bostans will be having another big BBQ this Saturday (13th) night from 7:30pm onwards.3 courses, eat as much as you can for 20tl including steak and lamb and fish. After this week they will be every 2 weeks until the start of May, then they will be weekly for the Summer season. Not your usual BBQ! Lively music from 10pm onwards from the 60s, 70s and 80s.

Post by: captainjon on March 19, 2010, 18:04:42 PM: Hate to repeat myself, so left it to others to comment on the fantastic food.But its difficult to describe the quality and the choice of dishes Recep prepares.Never a fan of cold food I avoid mezes so I settled for crab claws as a starter.The main course cooked when you want it and to your taste included= Sword fish steaks,Two other full fishes whose name I dont know,steak,chicken wings,drumsticks,liver,adana kebabs,lamb kebabs,beef kebabs,aubergine and meatball kebabs,this may vary on the night as previous evenings have also included lamb chops and kidneys and chicken breasts with other types of kebabs.Sorry to go on a bit,but can only state its fantastic.It also includes a sweet before I forget. Jon (you may need to book for this week)

BBQs will be every saturday night now as season seems to have kicked off early this year, starting around 8pm.

Post by: bagpus on April 07, 2010, 10:21:44 AM: might not be a bad idea to pop in or call and book. Some nights have had some spare tables and others have been full. If you don't mind sitting outside then there is probably no problem.
