It is pretty much the Turkish way to only decide a week before.. They don't do long term planning. lol.

I expect there will be several instances of a man pretending to be Michael Jackson, which is no more than a waiter with a MJ mask on, pretending to sing the Michael Jackson track that is blaring out of the speakers. It isn't entertainment where I come from, but for some reason people applaud.

just a question highlander 2 years ago there seemed to be alotof live entertainment on the front, then this summer seemed to be very quiet. just wanted to know if any of the places had any plans

Thanks squiffy. I think mercury is exactly right.

I remember one particular friend of ours pleading with us to come to his restaurant for a meal one night. Eventually, we agreed a date and time only to be told on arrival that his chef had gone to Fethiye. Being the Turkish way, non further explanation or solution was given :).

PS He's still a friend.

there's probably loads of bars and restaurants that don't even know if they will be open next year, never mind what the entertainment is likely to be  ;) :D
