« on: August 24, 2012, 21:51:10 PM »
Just back from Friday evening curry buffet, all you can eat, 25 tl
Chicken tikka massala, chicken vindaloo, 2 veggie curries, spicy lentil purée which I can't remember the name of, popadoms, 2 different rices, naan bread, sauces, salad and watermelon

Really delicious, would definitely recommend.

Not tried the Bambu but find 25tl a bit steep considering Carol at Bostans does a monthly eat all you can open Curry buffet with three types meat curries, veggie curry,2 types rice, popadums, nann bread, onion bhagies, home made chutney and rafia for 16tl!

That's fine for that one night in the month, but for the rest of the time, at least the Bambu is an alternative. Thanks for posting Linda, I wasn't aware of this  :P

I have to agree with Grizzlybelly.Having eaten at both Bostans and Bambu ,its Bostans that wins on both taste and value for money.Next one is coming up on Sept 4th.

We haven't tried Bostans yet, but for a curry fix while family are here it was perfect as usually go all the way up to Hisaronu.

Will actually be around for the 4 th September for Bostans and looking forward to it.

We tried an Indian meal at Bambu and found it surprising good.  For convenience I am sure people will not mind paying a little extra to sit at the seafront and eat, particularly if they are not over at the time when Bostan's do their curry night.  It's good that there is somewhere down on the prom that is doing Indian food.
We will definitely be back.
Think we all have to remember that most visitors to Calis usually only eat at the prom and the main street, anywhere away from the main street is totally foreign territory.

Me neither but then we loved Bostans which is an absolute bargain for the money. We pay 25TL for the Shine in the Summer but the same meal is only 15TL in the winter. Its only natural that they have to make the money when they can in The summer.
