8th Birthday
« on: April 23, 2014, 18:12:19 PM »
Hi All

Thank you to all the replies to my previous post. all very helpful.

I am staying in Calis Beach for 2 weeks in August and while i am there it will be my sons 8th birthday. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a restaurant where they would be able to arrange a birthday cake and generally make a bit of a fuss of him. We are there for 3 days before his birthday so will give us a bit of time to go in and talk to them. Any suggestions would again be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks

John

The Nil Bar are very good with children. Angel will certainly arrange a birthday cake if you ask her.. Lots of kids go there in The Summer months.. The staff are great with them.

Nil Bar is right on the front.  You can't miss it.
Vojos, another one on the prom would also give your wee one a good night

Nil Bar is on the sea front.. About 5 bars on... Good prices and they do children's meals... As I said they will make sure that the party is as good one.. Just pop in a couple of days before..

Wouldn't describe Vojos as a bar for a children's party.. More for the adults after.

Have to agree with mercury on the Nil Bar.

Balloons, cake, silly hat, fireworks, a rendition of happy birthday. I have seen many well organised birthday celebrations there. Angel and the guys are always very attentive and accomodating.

We had a large group of people over to Calis for my son's wedding.  We had arranged to meet up with 13 people for dinner at 8.00pm at Georges.  We found out that it was the birthday of a little girl that had been to the wedding with her Mum.   My son and his wife went down to Georges at 6.00pm to ask them if they could arrange something.   My son was convinced it was too late.  I told him he would be surprised...he was.  When we arrived at 8.00pm the table was laid with decorations and balloons and after the meal, Happy Birthday was played everyone at the restaurant joined in fireworks were lit and a huge birthday cake with candles was brought to the table. That is what I call service.
Georges Restaurant is on the Prom with the Eyna one side and Serkul on the other. ;D
