Jacqui, I am aware of the offers at Vojos and have tried several of their offerings. I am equally aware that a fixed price is the same, no matter if the whole offer is taken up or not. Also I am aware that a dessert needn't be shared. However, The eat all you can for cheap as chips offers do not rock my boat, as good a value as they may be. The reason I enjoy the sampler meals at Mozaic Garden with Nichola and Dugan is because I can dabble un peu de tout when I would like just a taste and not a whole meal. I personally find that eating until I am fit to bust is very uncomfortable and something I avoid. Each to his own!   :)

Nichola and Dugan....Have you been at the Gin too?

We have never tried an all in meal in Calis before.  We called on Sunday and Odd Job asked us to try the Sunday meal, so we did.  However, I did not say we ate it all, and because there are three courses, it does not mean anyone must eat until they are fit to bust.
In fact, the only reason I mentioned it was because I was trying to let the O.P. see how cheaply one can eat if they wish.
Of course, you can go over to the Island and pay 350.00lira for a meal for two, this is the other end of the scale.

"Of course, you can go over to the Island and pay 350.00lira for a meal for two" that's miles dearer than in our neck of the woods.  ;)

How is the new Lokanta in the main drag in Calis doing.  We called in there several times recently and walked past on numerous occasions, but it was never what you would call "busy".  Surprising, considering the comments on here in previous threads about Calis having no or very few traditional Turkish restaurants!  I must say that everything we sampled was delicious and the price very reasonable. Such a shame if it doesn't survive.

5TL? How much of a loss are they making on that? Must be good margins elsewhere. Are they selling balik ekmek for 7TL to make up the loss?
