How is the new Lokanta in the main drag in Calis doing.  We called in there several times recently and walked past on numerous occasions, but it was never what you would call "busy".  Surprising, considering the comments on here in previous threads about Calis having no or very few traditional Turkish restaurants!  I must say that everything we sampled was delicious and the price very reasonable. Such a shame if it doesn't survive.
It is a very good restaurant Nick, but I think lots of the tourists, brits etc don't use it because they don't sell the typical English dishes, you know,   Chinese, Indian, Italian. sausage and chips etc.  ;) ;D

Ah, that's the answer then. I assume that as posts are being scrutinised for perfection now, that said lady will be proof reading her posts then!  ???

No doubt we'll be able to assist her and quickly point out any spelling mistakes and grammatical errors in her future posts.  ;)

Innit, Yeah ?

Not about spelling mistakes at all.   It seems like the said lady assumed this was the correct spelling for the restaurant and the name of the owner as she was mystified at the posting.  So no mistakes made by her.
She is now turning this posting around to assure people it was merely spelling mistakes on her behalf and I am the villain of the peace....very cute.

Back to the plot.  I noticed a lot of restaurants offering cocktails for 10 Lira last month.  I had seen them for 15 lira in June, so they must reduce the prices at the end of the season.

I thought it was Nichola and Doğan. Oh well, I've only been there once.
