What a great victory - well done Andy, very well done sir.

Number 2 in the world is a remarkable achievement.

Totally agree H, though he has been ranked at No 2 before.  A victory over his nemesis Djokovic can only be a confidence booster going into the US Open two weeks from now.
Have followed his progress since he was a Junior......knew he'd be good, just didn't realise how good!!!

Have never thought he gets the credit he deserves

But we (the Scots) at least are very, very proud of him  :).

Again I have to agree, he doesn't get the credit his skills deserve.....he does have a droll sense of humour which is lost on some fans, particularly the American ones, and this does have an effect on his popularity.  As a tennis fan of many years standing he's the finest player the UK has ever produced and I'm not one to call him Scots when he loses and a Brit  when he wins.  You can be sure he's treated with a great deal more respect amongst his peers.  Even though Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, and Rafael Nadal have better records in the majors that make up the grand slam,   they fear Andy if he's in their part of the draw.  I shall be rooting for him at the US Open and the Australian Open.

Delighted with the result. Well Done to him. I was also very impressed with Novak Djokovic making his speech in French. Clever!  :)
