Oh, what a day! :( It is throwing it down outside, bigtime! Just went into the kitchen and the rain is coming through our kitchen ceiling. [:(!]
Rang my uncle, who's a roofer. :) He told me it's probably the "gulley" between two pitched roof extensions. :o Means nothing to me. He also told me he can't come out today - my aunt is in hospital following a gall stone operation (get well soon Aunty Pauline!). And anyway, it's too wet!!! 8)
So, a bowl to catch the drips, and a phone call to our insurers tomorrow. Have only lived here for 8 months. Hope it's not a big job! :o
Roll on another 4 weeks, when we can escape this foul weather, and wake up (if we're able to sleep in the heat 8) ) to some beautiful hot DRY summer weather. So much for global warming. We just don't get summers any more, just milder weather all year round. [:X]
